Our vision is not just to create a special cosmetics brand. MÊME is above all a human adventure with a single aim: that of improving support for all women affected by cancer.
This is why since the launch of the brand in January 2017, we have supported associations and organisations helping to improve the quality of life of those affected by cancer.
1% of our turnover is allocated to supporting research
MÊME has committed to helping progress in research by supporting Unicancer, a federation of cancer centres (CLCC). We decided to continue our partnership with Unicancer after conducting clinical research on our products in 2016 at one of these centres.
“We have been touched by the sincere approach of the young women who founded MÊME cosmetics. These founders accepted the Léon Bérard Centre’s method combining expertise and quality for the trials run on these products in good conditions. Ultimately, providing a moment of comfort for our patients who have embarked on difficult treatment plans is a great bonus."
Pr Isabelle Ray Coquard, medical oncologist at the Centre Léon Bérard, CLCC Lyon and specialist in gynaecological cancer.
Beyond beauty and quality of life in terms of dermatology, we must also further cancer research and the greater well-being of patients in France, so we donate 1% of our revenue to Unicancer and other organisations to help them in their efforts to improve healthcare, research and teaching in cancerology.
From the outset, 1% of any orders placed for MÊME products on the online shop and purchased in pharmacies is donated to Unicancer or other organisations working to help cancer research make progress.
“We have unfortunately experienced losses to cancer, it’s a disease that affects everyone, whether directly or indirectly. We are now proud and very moved to make our small contributions to cancer research. We simply hope with all our hearts, that one day, people no longer lose loved ones to this painful experience."

Supporting dozens of organisations
In addition to our solidarity initiatives, we work all year round in partnership with many organisiations all over France and Europe, supporting them in their goal of improving quality of life for patients.
We donate our products, we distribute introductory kits and documentation as well as organising workshops all year round. MÊME also works alongside healthcare professionals and care and support staff striving to improve their patients’ well-being.
Tangible initiatives, 365 days a year
Every year, Pink October is an opportunity to leverage the publicity given to cancer in the public eye to raise awareness of issues that are too often erased or glossed over, despite affecting people greatly.
Life after cancer, intimacy-related taboos, how patients reappropriate their bodies and mental health are all issues we have freely addressed with our clients.
Cancer doesn’t stop on 31 October, and absolutely doesn’t tickle us pink. So we continue with initiatives all year round.
We are committed to helping research institutes and organisations, and we strive to raise awareness of all types of cancer, all year round.
This is why in 2023 we set up the Lilac February movement. It is a solidarity initiative to encourage all willing firms and brands to make a year-long commitment to fighting all types of cancer.
Why February?
Because 4 February is World Cancer Day
Why lilac?
Because the lilac ribbon is symbolic of the struggle to fight all types of cancer
