This repair ointment has been specifically formulated for very dry hands and feet with a tendency to crack, providing targeted, all-round action: it repairs, cleanses and soothes fragile areas, to lasting effect.
Insulating patch effect
Its High Tolerance formula fortified with plant paraffin and shea butter forms a rich, melting texture that doesn’t feel sticky. It insulates the skin with a protective, reassuring patch for a long-lasting repair effect. The skin is protected from outer aggressions and less moisture is lost*, thus helping to nourish and repair the epidermis.
Repairing and cleansing action
The formula contains two plant-based active ingredients BIOME Oléoactif® and Passioline®, boasting healing, cleansing properties.
Since cracks provide a direct pathway for bacteria on the attack, the cleansing properties help to curb the proliferation of micro-organisms likely to prevent the skin from healing and worsen your everyday discomfort.
These two active ingredients foster a healthy skin environment and maintain the microbiome’s balance, thus helping to restore the skin barrier, and ensuring optimum skin growback.
With these technical active ingredients, the fragile zones feel less taut, the skin is no longer as dry, with visible skin growback and less discomfort.
The result: Within three days, skin has been soothed and feels more comfortable, and cracks are visibly smaller.

How to use Cracks & fissures ointment to care for dry and cracked hands and feet
The ointment is for local use, on hands and feet that are cracked or that suffer from hyperkeratosis (calloused, thick skin).
Use the spatula to apply the ointment once or twice a day. Massage it all over the area to be treated on hands and feet until there are no more cracks. Continue twice a week as a preventive measure.
Round off your routine with:
- Hand and foot serum to be used daily
- The moisturising gloves and slippersfor a super-moisturising mask, once or twice per week
- Face and body cleansing oil to cleanse your skin without drying it out
- Hand sanitiser foam so you can avoid using disinfectant products that can irritate your hands

When to use the Cracks & fissures ointment
As soon as the skin gets very dry and taut, or starts to crack. Apply a thin layer twice a day for concentrated nourishment, or a single thin layer in the evening as a healing dressing. It can also be used to prevent the onset of cracks and daily discomfort, especially at times when the skin is exposed more (in summer when you wear open shoes, and in the winter when the cold can damage your hands).
What is the difference between the Ointment and the Hand and foot serum
The Serum can be used daily, for maintenance, to moisturise and protect your skin. The formula absorbs rapidly, for instant moisturisation, for use throughout the day. The Ointment is to be applied locally. It is richer and more concentrated, for use as a cure when the skin is already cracked, to thoroughly heal and soothe, or as a preventive measure if you start feeling discomfort.
What is hand-foot syndrome?
Hand-foot syndrome is a frequent skin reaction to certain types of cancer treatment. Symptoms include blotchy skin, overheating, extreme dryness, and even cracked skin on the palms of your hand and soles of the feet. How to provide relief for hand-foot syndrome
As recommended by AFSOS (the French-language organisation for cancer care and support):
- Clean your skin with a gentle body wash suited to dry skin, like our face and body cleansing oil
- Avoid using hand sanitiser, which is often too aggressive. Prefer our high tolerance, hand foam sanitiser
- Moisturise and nourish your hands and feet morning and evening, with the hand and foot serum
- In the event of the onset of cracked skin, apply a thick coat of our Cracks & fissures ointment to fill in the cracks and help them to heal.
